The Basic Investigative Photography course is a 35 hour course in basic and investigative photography with workshops intertwined with lectures. It is designed to enhance the photographic abilities of police officers by outlining techniques and methods used in crime scene photography. The latter portion of the course will go into a deeper methodology on lighting techniques used to bring forth the qualities of a piece of evidence secured at a crime scene.
