Using fiction, non-fiction, and film as texts, students will consider the forces that move people across borders and how migration affects questions of identity formation. The broader framework for this course derives from an engagement with race and colonialism and their meanings for the peoples of the Caribbean as experienced at home and in the diaspora. 3 credits.
