This class will familiarize students with contemporary queer studies, primarily from a Women's Studies/Gender Studies perspective. Although the term "queer studies" defies easy definition, for the purposes of this class it will entail lesbian, gender, bisexual, and transgender studies (LGBT) from a social contructionist standpoint. 3.0 credits.
