Intermediate course with a different focus each semester. Topics include literature, philosophy, art, mythology, history, landscape design, and architecture from around the world. By exploring the myriad ways human beings have viewed nature, students will gain a better grasp of why human-environment interactions are in crisis and what it means to be human in such a world.
