Description:
-
Sustainable development appears to contain three main components: economic growth, social development, and conservation of nature. However, there is not a consensus on the scope or dimensions of the concept, or on how or where sustainable development is occurring. This course will explore sustainable development around the world and investigate some of the roles particular non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are playing in global sustainable development.
