Description:
An introduction to the fundamentals of computer graphics, including the mathematical foundations of graphics techniques; 2D and 3D algorithms for geometry, transformations, viewing, and lighting; stereo viewing, ray tracing, and radiosity. At least two different graphics APIs will be introduced and will be used to implement graphics programs and provide hands-on experience in the topics covered. Prerequisite: COMP 31100. 4 credits.
