Addresses the issue of cinematic exhibition -- focusing on context, format, and distribution -- as it affects the experience and meaning of moving images. Students will attend a series of film exhibitions and will critically evaluate the content of each through written papers and oral presentations. Prerequisite: One course in the humanities or fine arts. Students in the B.S. in Cinema and Photography who have a concentration in Cinema Production must take this course concurrently with CNPH 21001-99 (they do not have to take it concurrently if CNPH 21001-99 is taken a second time under a different topic). 1 credit.
