Study of the theory, process and practice of small business enterprise. Areas to be examined are the study of small business enterprise in the twenty-first century, the entrepreneurship perspective, the development of a business plan and processes for initiating new business ventures. Students will apply textbook applications via experiential learning with community based small businesses and non-profit organizations. Students will be asked to create a small business and/or design a business plan. Open to Business students only. (F, IR)
