Topics include: gas-phase chemistry, aerosol formation and heterogeneous chemistry, meteorology, and current environmental issues (ozone holes, global warming, etc.). Class activities will include discussions of technical papers drawn from contemporary scientific literature and simulations of environmental problems through computer models.
