Fall semester teaching in a classroom setting with at least 10% English language learners is required. Reflections and products required include: evidence that the teacher understands and plans for the cultural influences that affect student learning in the classroom; evidence that the teacher promotes the cultural heritage of the students; evidence that the teacher respects and plans for family participation in the child's learning; and evidence that the teacher uses community and/or web-based resources to promote children's learning. Fall site-based internet course.
