An introduction to the principles and techniques of writing for various forms and genres of mass media: print, broadcast, electronic, news, advertising, public relations. Course includes dicussion of readings, analysis of model writing, individual and collaborative writing projects, peer editing, and use of computer and technology. Prerequisite: EN111 or equivalent. 3 hours lecture, one semester, 3 credits. Offered fall.
