An introduction to the fascinating and rapidly growing field of forensic investigation in the criminal justice system. It will include all aspects of forensic analysis with some hands-on training. While geared for the professional in the field the course is basic enough to be included in other departmental programs. An advanced course in forensics with laboratory analysis is offered periodically on demand and student interest under the Selected Topics course, CJ 398. 3 credits.
