Introduction to the sources of retrospective and current chemical information (i.e. primary peer reviewed literature, handbooks, abstracts, reviews, monographs, and compendiums), with emphasis on the techniques of retrieval and evaluation of this information using on-line databases (Wilson Index, CAS Online/STN, Science Direct), and the Internet. Preparation of scientific papers, literature reviews and literary techniques. Prerequisites: CH224; 2 hour lecture; 2 credit.
