Introduction to Arab Culture Introduction to Arab Culture is a course that provides a comprehensive overview of the culture of the Arabic- speaking people of the Middle East. The course will provide an understanding of the importance of the Arabic language and continue with a sociological and historical overview of Arab culture. Topics of contemporary relevance will also be studied. These topics include but are not limited to: the status of women, the impact of the West, family roles and structures, and education. The course is taught in English.
