In this course students will define sustainability and explore the technology that supports the application of sustainability concepts in buildings, energy, and resource management. Methods and technologies in building systems, energy systems, and resource management and conservation that foster sustainability will be investigated qualitatively and quantitatively. Through these activities students will begin to see how systems could be (re)designed to create sustainable communities. Pre-requisites: College level English proficiency. MAT 091 (Beginning Algebra) or its equivalent.
