In this course you study on your own using computer software. Come to the DCC Learning Center where you can work independently on mastering English skills. The course is geared to the mature, competent student who can effectively work alone. ELLIS software, state-of-the-art ESL instructional media offers ESL students instruction in speaking, reading, and writing English. This module gives non-nature students the opportunity to review and practice reading, writing, and listening skills necessary to function effectively in English. The course is appropriate for students of any skill level. It is particularly targeted for students whose skill level is too low to enroll in DCC's credit couse ENG095 / 096 and for students who have no interest in attending college but wish to improve their American English skills.
