Kaplan Educational Centers, the world leader in test preparation, is offering its renowned SAT course at Dutchess Community College in Poughkeepsie, NY. This class will be offered to prepare students for the October PSAT and the November SAT. Kaplan's 12-session SAT course includes an Orientation session for parents and students, three practice tests, and eight three-hour lessons. The diagnostic test, given in the second session, creates anindividualized study plan tailored to each student's strengths and weaknesses. PSAT students attend the 21st six (6) sessions, and return in the winter or spring for the 2nd half of the course in preparation for the SAT exam. Kaplan students receive a lesson book, home study book, math and vocabulary flashcards, CD-ROM software, and A Parent's Guide to College Admissions.
