The presentation discusses the changing role of the Board, fundraising principles, why people give, how to start a fundraising effort, categories and methods of fundraising, raising money from major donors,"the asking" process, donor models, solicitations and informational materials, funding practices, successful fundraising and examples of creative fundraising events and how to plan them.
