PRF 032 - Successful Prof Woman

Institution:
Dutchess Community College
Subject:
Professional Development
Description:
This one-of-a-kind interactive presentation is specifically designed for today's woman who wants to succeed in business by enhancing her value to her organization. The presentation takes a candid humorous approach: how professional women can successfully climb the corporate ladder without falling or knocking down the guys and dolls on the way up. It reviews the attributes of successful leaders such as developing the skills that make people want to emulate them, improving professional presence, advancing communications skills, creating a win-win atmosphere, selling themselves to rise to the top. The presentation also discusses such topics as recognizing and accepting the fact that men are different, balancing private and professional life and taking advantage of the "female advantage!" During the workshop case studies are analyzed.
