This lecture will review the anatomy and physiology of the pediatric airway with discussion including the common causes of respiratory emergencies and deseases. Those attending this class will learn to identify the signs and symptoms that can be life threatening as well as becoming comfortable with treating the pediatric patient in the pre-hospital setting. Discussion will also include recognition and treatment of a special consideration patient.
