This class will illustrate the differences between Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS) and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). Utilizing a graphic presentation and case scenarios the Prehospital Care Provider will be able to identify the physical characteristics, contributing factors, parental indicators and crime scene appearances of the shaken baby victim.
