Do you ever "freeze up" when it is time to take a solo? There are simple techniques that can be learned in order to have a comfortable starting point and know where to take it when the spotlight is on you. We will study classic melodic development tecniques such as theme and variations, call and response. Composing your own set of riffs to start solos with and tricks of the trade to keep things interesting.
