Students acquire an understanding of methods that are necessary to help others accurately diagnose the source of problems and the strategies to facilitate an appropriate intervention. Most organizations utilize consultants to some degree, whether formally or informally. The rapid changes influencing society and organizations have increased the need for people with expertise in such fields as human relations, organizational structure, strategic planning, financial management, informational technology, conflict resolution, and team building.
