An overview of applications of learning theory and teaching methodology for the humanities and arts, the social sciences, the natural sciences, and mathematics at the middle grade level. In this course, the development of the adolescent and the resulting impact on student learning is carefully examined. A model for teaching is developed and used. Students are introduced to the concepts of differentiated instruction and application as well as the practice of interdisciplinary teaming. Either semester.
