Working with local non-profit social service groups, students will design and implement a plan for fundraising for each of these agencies. Coursework will consist of lectures and workshops on fundraising and grant writing with experienced professional fundraisers. Students working in groups will be expected to write at least one grant and host one fundraising event that assist the cooperating agencies in their goals of delivering services to their populations. Students will write reflection papers and a final report of their project for assessment.
