Students will accomplish three goals. The first is to develop an awareness for the role that research plays in their professional lives as reflective practitioners. The second is to examine the various research methodologies commonly employed in research in education and social sciences as well as the writing skills needed to report results in a scholarly manner. The third is to help students become better consumers and critics of the research as reported in the literature.
