This course is a critical examination of the current issues in educational policy making. The course addresses issues such as the rights and responsibilties of teachers, limits of democratic authority, and equality of educational opportunity. Empirical data will be used to review and evaluate the impact of external policies on the educational organization and the role of the leader.
