The purpose of this course is to look at the role of integrating the arts into children's imaginative and creative moments, and creating a learning community committed to educational equity. The course will focus on enhancing the curriculum content areas: language arts, math, science, and social studies through arts-based activities. Topics will include teaching methods, planning and implementing fine arts, drama, music, movement, and how to include collaborative art projects in the community.
