Description:
This is a practical course where students apply previous learning and gain experience in assessment and intervention with children and families and school consultation. Team collaboration, peer review and case conferences are essential elements of this course. Students work with actual clients at the Child and Family Services Center under supervision of professional psychologists. Supervision is provided through the use of audiotaping, videotaping and observation through one-way mirrors. Topical seminars are also included throughout the semester. Prerequisites: PSYC 629 and 638.
