This seminar is a multi-purpose course designed to supplement student experiences in the clinic practicum and to provide a practical introduction to family therapy. Specifically, students will be trained in concepts and techniques of structural-strategic family therapy through videotaped demonstrations and simulations. Students will also have the opportunity to discuss actual clinic cases as a means of applying family therapy concepts. At the completion of the course, participants should have developed foundation skills for using family therapy interventions.
