This course covers the range of physical, cognitive, communication, and social/emotional exceptionalities in human development from childhood to early adulthood. One focus will be on the commonalities, not just the differences, between children and youth with disabilities and their non-disabled peers. A second focus is on understanding the different contexts of disability.
