Institution:
Saint Martin's University
Subject:
Description:
Course covers interactive computer programming and graphics and their applications in the mechanical design of engineering systems. Presents various ways in which computers can help the designer solve problems and make decisions. These include but are not limited to mathematical and computer modeling, analysis and optimization, finite element analysis, simulations, animation and two- and three-dimensional graphics and presentations. Design projects involving the application of CAD (computer-aided design) constitute a significant portion of the course. Prerequisites: senior standing in ME program
