First course in the capstone research track. Students learn to search, read, and evaluate the chemical literature using traditional and on-line methods. Students will then select a research topic or subtopic, in consultation with a chemistry faculty member. Once the topic is chosen, the student will prepare an original research proposal and research plan. Prerequisite: CHM331/331L, CHM 202/202L.
