A study of the relationship between resource stewardship and city life in both the Old and New Testaments. Key biblical texts and concepts serve as the foundation for considering how people can live appropriately on earth today and properly use human, material, natural, and social resources, even within an urbanized context. Attention is given to biblical texts relating a Christian response to such topics as personal consumption, land use issues, and environmental degradation. Cross-listed with BIBL 289.
