Students work in an agency setting for a total of 200 hours and attend a one-hour class on campus each week. Total of 216 hours. Work done at the agency is to help the student accomplish defined learning objectives developed jointly by the student, the placement coordinator, and the agency. The work done is supervised by an on-site supervisor and the faculty supervisor. Students verify activities by keeping a log throughout the semester. The standards for determining placement credit is one-credit hour per 40 hours of work and one additional hour in the classroom each week for 16 weeks. Prequisite: Senior standing required.
