Description:
Students examine key concepts of research design, methods of data collection and data analysis. They are familiarized with the fundamentals of writing a clear research question, literature review, hypothesis formation, sampling techniques, developing questionnaires, interviewing, and designing tables and graphs. They also learn to use appropriate research technologies, which can be applied to their work in organizational situations. A major outcome of this course is that students will complete a proposal and a detailed research plan for their applied research projects. Prerequisite: BLA 400
