This course exposes participants to some major historical perspectives on leadership. In addition, it examines two major features of effective leadership, namely creativity and change. Special emphasis is placed on exploring how these views of and features of leadership can be applied in participants' own professional and personal lives. A major assignment for this course is the development of a leadership definition, by each student, that integrates aspects of the course contents. Prerequisite: BLA 300
