Students will be introduced to the concepts of visual programming for the Windows platform utilizing event-driven/object-oriented programming techniques. Emphasis will be placed on designing and creating interactive applications, creating and manipulating sequential and random access files and arrays, designing graphical user interface (GUI) applications, accessing information in databases, creating and designing applications utilizing Object Linking and Embedding (LE) techniques, among others. Prerequisite: BIS 340.
