Laboratory techniques for examining DNA, RNA, and protein at a molecular level will be introduced. Topics include isolation, purification, transformation, transfection, polymerase chain reaction, column chromatography, and other related techniques. Laboratory must be taken concurrently with BIO 460-Molecular Biology. Preerquisites: BIO 124, 125, 200, 202, CHEM 110, 111, 112, 113, 342, 343.
