Embryonic and fetal development, with emphasis on germ layers and their fates, placental structure, and develop- mental defects. Three lectures per week. Primarily for biology majors and minors, majors in biology teacher educa- tion, students in pre-professional programs (pre-medical, pre-dental, etc.), and advanced students in the health pro- fessions. Prerequisites: BIO 124, 125, 302. May be offered upon student request: consult with department chairperson.
