Animal reproduction and development, with emphasis on vertebrates; includes reproductive systems, cell division, germ cell formation, fertilization, normal and abnormal differentiation, experimental embryology, microscopic and macroscopic development of organisms, with emphasis on the frog, chick and fetal pig. Three lectures and one three- hour laboratory per week. Prerequisites: BIO 124, 125, 202. May be offered upon student request.
