This course examines closely the literacy practices in Australia, a country with a long history of successful literacy teaching within inclusive education settings. Travel to Australia for approximately two weeks is a required part of this course. Prerequisite: permission of instructor. Satisfies Global Perspective requirement when taken by undergraduate seniors for undergraduate credit. (Cross-listed as SPED 511)
