Three hours lecture. Prerequisite: Graduate standing or permission of School Director. This course presents an overview of exceptionalities of children and youth and curricular and instructional modifi cations with emphasis on administrative provisions to meet their needs. Current trends and issues in service delivery, federal and state law, court cases and Virginia regulations for special education programs are addressed.
