This course will study sustainability issues across three levels of development: 1) the extreme poor, 2) working poor people/nations, and 3) emerging economies with moderate and growing income levels. We will use popular press books in addition to case discussions, current articles in the business and academic press, and a substantial project to study sustainable development from multiple angles.
