This course will focus on effective instructional strategies to foster development of foreign language proficiency areas - listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Emphases will be placed on methods that develop communicative competencies in contextual, functional language learning situations, providing for students with special needs, using authentic materials, culture and assessment. Students complete a 20-hour OPT in conjunction with this course. Co-or prerequisite: SEC 519. Open to CSR majors only. Spring
