It provides students with an interdisciplinary understanding of African people, their civilization, and diverse cultures. The course focuses on African traditional life, African contributions to world civilization, and the impact of other cultures on Africa. We will discuss the structure of the family, the community, communal participation, political institutions, and politics and society.
