An introductory biology course for nonbiology majors. This course concentrates on major biological concepts concerning molecular biology, cellular biology, cellular reproduction, classical and molecular genetics, energetics, and ecology. This course would be beneficial to those students who are pursuing elementary education degrees because the course teaches biological topics included in the Virginia Standards of Learning. Cannot be substituted for BIol 115N or 116N.
