Designed for students majoring in art education and early childhood education, this course covers the conceptual foundations of art education in the early years and an exploration of art materials and procedures for kindergarten and elementary school teaching. Demonstrations, workshops, and discussions place special emphasis on the scope, sequence, and philosophy of art in the elementary curriculum.
