This course is a pre-requisite to our Introduction to our Photovoltaic Systems course. The class will provide a review of basic arithmetic and elementary algelra. These mathematical skills are needed to understand the principles of basic electricity for renewable energy. This electricity course content is designed for beginners who want to get acquainted with the basic concepts of electricity. It is an ideal course for both people with no knowledge of electricity or electrical principles and those who have construction but not electrical background. The course outline includes: Basic Electrical Theory, DC Electrical Theory Ohms Law-Resistance, Voltage, Current Voltage Drop Problems, Causes and Remedies, How AC and DC are Produced, Introduction to Transformers and more. 7 sessions
