As an outgrowth of the alarming data plaguing our county¿s youth, SUNY Orange, in partnership with Orange Works, is offering the third year of its Youth Empowerment Program (YEP) and are offering GED classes to at-risk youth who have dropped out of secondary school. This effort will assist youth to begin a lifetime of career achievement by adequately attending to their personal, social, civic, academic, and vocational needs through paid work internships.
